Sometimes I get a bit tired trying to figure out what suits me and stick to the same old stuff but now I'm going to try again to try some adventurous new shapes. Flattering is such a subjective, individual, and frankly stupid concept. Just because you personally don't feel comfortable in boob tubes, denim mini-skirts and tops that tie-up in the back doesn't mean they don't look good on other people.Bronnyhttp://fat-aus.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8728735157965610424.post-80586587109434815902013-08-28T22:14:37.849+10:002013-08-28T22:14:37.849+10:00Hell yeah you do!

Maybe I like what they wear on catwalks. Maybe wearing those clothes makes me feel good. I agree people should try ALL things and see what THEY think suits them... But I certainly don't agree with "rules" for bigger girls or limiting options based on what OTHER people may think looks good on us. I can't believe you inferred we may look like crap but perhaps no-ones spoken up yet!? Clothing is about the INDIVIDUAL, surely... This post encourages a type of body shame and conforming to media based pressures.
Thank God for Fashion Hayley. I skip that boob tubes and minis but that doesn't mean I can not be confident and miss out on the trends at the time. City Chic does great at providing not only the trends but a few options for us. Short skirts, long maxis, figure hugging dresses and then flowing tunics. Great article and hope to hear more from Sally.

KatieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8728735157965610424.post-29114904716546521722013-08-13T22:29:32.932+10:002013-08-13T22:29:32.932+10:00Many plus size women do a damn good job at rocking...Many plus size women do a damn good job at rocking the boob tubes, cropped and mini skirts. Ladies should rock whatever the hell they want..... even if some people think "it's too small" or "not suitable to their shape".

Nobody seems to mind when thin women let their ass hang out of shorts.
I like the idea of body positivity (not to conform or feel the pressure to follow what society decides is beautiful and acceptable).

That's my opinion anyways.Falala Melehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03904369900200965348noreply@blogger.com
