Holiday Jumpsuit

As I said in my last post I'm off to Vietnam in a matter of weeks for a bit of a beach holiday mixed in with seeing all of the sights the country has to offer. To say I'm very excited is an understatement. This will be my first trip to Vietnam, and my first to South East Asia for that matter so as I've never been anywhere like it before climate and culture wise I've been doing a lot of research online about what I should pack and wear over there. It seems casual comfy lightweight clothes are the best bet for the humidity, whilst being respectful of the culture it is best to try and keep your arms covered at all times, especially when visiting a temple. I'm thinking outfits like this one will help see me through my three week trip. This playsuit is just so cute and comfy, which makes it ideal for travelling. The kimono is an old City Chic buy that has seen me through many many summers now, I love that you can keep classics like these in your wardrobe season after season and it will never get old.

My research for this trip included looking for the best backpack to take with me for daily use. I wanted something both durable and waterproof whilst still being cute! The classic Kanken Fjallraven backpack was designed in the 1970's and has not changed since giving it that cute retro style, but it's also very durable, one friend used hers daily for the past four years and it hasn't had any problems at all. So I was sold, but especially by the hot pink colour - so me!

The perfect look for the beachside towns I'll be visiting.

Another classic piece - the Saltwater sandals. I'm all about good quality, well designed long lasting pieces right now. From my City Chic kimono that has lasted for years to my backpack and sandals that I hope will do the same. Can't wait to go on this holiday now, wish it was tomorrow and not just under a month away.
