Sometimes Glam Style Edit // The Only Dress You'll Ever Need

  Hey Dolls!

Man, do I have a good one for you today!

Every once in a while a dress comes along that is so amazing, you need to tell everyone about it.
You almost want to drive to the highest mountain you can find and scream it to the world.

Now, let me tell you why: first - it's convertible.
Convertible means one thing: this dress can be worn so many ways, it's like having ten dresses in one!

Second - the fabric! Convertible dresses are much too thin - which means sheer. Which means... an undergarment nightmare. No such sheerness here! The fabric of the Holiday Maxi is thick, but still lightweight.

Next, the width of the straps. Another thing to look for when you're shopping for a convertible dress is the width of the straps. This is paramount when you're plus size. You want coverage and flexibility.

Last, the pattern. The vertical stripes, coupled with the black and white color scheme, makes this not only super-flattering but also easy to pair with just about anything!

As soon as the postman dropped off the dress I immediately called Husband.
"OMG My new dress is here, and it's amazing and perfect and I need to wear it somewhere right now!"
I gushed. "I'm hungry!" he said. I bet that he would be. My husband is a foodie. Chances are, he's always hungry. "Pick me up in 20 minutes," I said and tossed my phone on the bed. I dug into the bag and pulled on the Holiday Maxi.

After fussing with the straps and tying them a multitude of ways, I decided to settle on a Grecian-inspired one-shoulder look. The half-bandeau in the back covered my strapless bra perfectly, and I slipped on my gladiator sandals, ready for lunch.
I'll be doing a video on all of the fun ways to wear this dress soon, so make sure you're subscribed to the Official City Chic YouTube Channel, so you don't miss it.

Until next time,
Stay Chic!
