When I am attending a special occasion I like my makeup to compliment my outfit and with so many gorgeous City Chic Occasion Dresses in rich, pretty colours and prints I wanted to create a look to suit the new styles.

For this makeup look I chose the Romance Rosa Dress as my inspiration as there are so many beautiful shades in the print. The soft peach hues againsts the darker purple and reds make up the perfect palette for an eye makeup look.

For this look I have gone with a bold warm eye, subtle lip and loads of lashes.
If you aren't a fan of the colours I have used feel free to customise the look to suit your style and outfit.

Prep the skin using Too Faced Hangover Primer and apply YSL Touché éclat Blur Primer over the
T-Zone to create a smooth base and to reduce any visible pores.

Apply MAC Studio Fix Foundation once the skin is primed.

Conceal under the eyes and using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and set under the eyes and the face using a translucent powder.

For my highlight I used 'Incandescent Light' from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette and I swept 'Radiant Light' from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette over my cheeks.

The shade 'Subconscious' from the Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette created the perfect contour.

Shape and feather the brows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in 'Medium Brown' and then I filled the brows using the Taupe shadow in the Bobbi Brown Brow Kit. I then lightly applied the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel to hold any of my natural brow hairs in place.

Apply MAC Paint Pot 'Painterly' on my eyelids to create a smooth base.

With a small fluffy brush I then swept Makeup Geek 'Peach Smoothie' Eyeshadow and Inglot Eyeshadow #314 Peach into my crease and to create the transition shade. Go backwards and forwards in a fast, light handed motion to blend together.

For my outer corner and lower lash line I used Inglot Eyeshadow #450 Cranberry and Makeup Geek 'Burlesque' Eyeshadow. Once applied I went in with a clean fluffy brush to blend up into the crease.

I then applied Inglot Eyeshadow #09 Gold on the mobile lid and the inner corners.

The Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in 'Trooper' lined the upper lash line and I filled in my lower waterline using the MAC Kohl Eye Pencil in 'Feline'.

Coat the lashes with NARS Larger Than Life Volumising Mascara and once dry
and if desired add lashes (in this look I used Social Eyes Tease 2.0 Half Lashes).

Then dab some Too Faced Melted 'Sugar' to the centre of the top and bottom lip.

HOT TIP - Blend! Blend! Blend! When doing your eye makeup use a fluffy blending brush to build up the colour intensity and fuse the shadows together for a seamless finish.
