One Playsuit: Two Ways

When I saw this playsuit pop up in the new items in this week gallery on City Chic's facebook page I was a little surprised at how much I really liked it. You see, I have actually never worn a playsuit or jumpsuit before but I thought it was about time that I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave the ever popular playsuit a try, and boy am I glad I did, as I think it looks amazing on me! No idea why I resisted for so long. I discovered that it's a very versatile piece too, above I am rocking it teamed with classic head to toe Melbourne black for an afternoon in the park walking my dog. We picked up lunch and coffee on the way from a local cafe and had a little picnic as for once it wasn't raining. I love that my City Chic trench coat from last season is still getting lots of wear, investing in it was a good idea as I'll have it for many years to come.

The beautiful sunshine was too tempting, even if it was freezing out, a picnic in the park was a great idea.

I'm all about backpacks right now, I just love how convenient they are for daily use. This one even has the perfect little front pocket for my Myki card.

Gumboots that look like chic Chelsea boots! Perfect for splashing in puddles and looking fashion forward at the same time.

I did say the playsuit was versatile, well here is what I wore out to a party later that night. All I did was add the gold chain belt that comes with the playsuit to make it look more dressy, then added in my own gold accessories as you all know how much I love matching my accessories by now! I got so many compliments in this look, it was a hit on the dancefloor that's for sure. I felt like a 1970's disco queen with my gold clogs and chain belt, what do you think?

It was very windy in the park when we took these photos but the hat did look fabulous at the party.

Loving all my gold matchy matchy accessories. I think it helps make the print of the playsuit really pop.

Matchy matchy even down to my shoes! I bought these gold clogs on sale recently and I'm in love with them, perfect with tights in winter and with a great manicure in summer!
