In Tune

If you've been reading the blog for a while you will know I raved about City Chic's Zip Front Tunic last June when I had just got back from a big trip to Japan where I practically lived in mine whilst travelling around. Well my love for this style hasn't waned and I finally got my hands on one of the new prints and I couldn't be happier. I'm actually in the midst of planning another big trip, this time to Vietnam, and I know this dress is going to serve me well over there like it did for me in Japan. I found the fabric is perfect for travelling as it doesn't crease, it dries really fast when you wash it and, um, those pockets are just so handy for carrying around your camera or train ticket when rushing from one tourist landmark to the next. Of course I will also be wearing this dress a lot at home, in fact I already have. Above I wore it out to brunch with my husband's family with just some sandals and a cool new bag (oh yeah, we got back together - it's been a crazy few months but we're both a lot happier thank for all your well wishes). I've also been wearing it on those cold rainy Autumn days Melbourne has been having of late with some black tights and my vintage leather biker jacket - it's just such a versatile piece and I can see myself wearing it all throughout winter and in hot and humid Vietnam!

I love this print so much, it almost reminds me of the bright neon lights of Tokyo. I paired it with my iridescent tote bag by local Melbourne designer Maude Studio.

You can't go wrong with a bright pink lip.

Loving those pockets! So handy (pardon the pun)

Have you got any fun travel plans in the works? Let me know in the comments bellow. Any tips for Vietnam would be greatly appreciated.
