Cooking with Asha // Sesame Crusted Salmon

Hey Guys,

My last couple of months have been so busy with a new job, new puppy and keeping up with my training, but it’s really important to always make time for good food! Eating well gives me energy to get through the day and this salmon recipe is full of healthy vitamins and fats. 

Sesame Crusted Salmon 

4 x 200g salmon steaks 
1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds

2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons coconut aminos or soy sauce 

Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. 

Mix the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.
Pour over the salmon and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes. 

Take the salmon out of the marinade and press the sesame seeds on the top and bottom of the salmon.

Bake on a lightly greased pan for 12-15 minutes.

 Serve with fresh salad and garlic mayonnaise.
