Noluthando's Style Edit // Effortless Chic in DIY

I am loving the DIY or as I would like to call it “Dress It Yourway” Jeans from City Chic

When I get dressed every morning I try my best to make my outfits look “effortless” (which is hard to do because I’m an over-thinker…) and not too coordinated, I just feel that it gives off a little more character and playfulness.

The City Chic DIY jeans give me that perfect effortless look, dressed up or down they becomes the main focus of any outfit without out shining but complimenting. It embodies the distressed look trend which I think is timeless when done/worn correctly. It can easily be changed from semi-formal to casual with a simple top and shoe change.

I am generally a “Plus size” rule breaker and these jeans break two “Curvy girls should keep to dark denim colours and avoid patterns/patches”. Contrary to the “rules/guides” the acid wash together with the patches in the skinny cut, compliment my curves beautifully.

Casual look
A simple white tee and white sneakers create an easy, fun yet put together outfit.

Smart Look
I simply added this gorgeous teal Strappy Reverse Top that has a sexy peek-a-boo cut out at the bust and is available in a variety of colours.

The must have Sleek Stretch Jacket adds the cherry on top and really completes the look.
