Mindy's Style FIle // Australia Day Attire

Hi Ladies!

Summer is finally showing her hot little head and just in time for Australia Day!

I know when it comes to a good ol’ Aussie BBQ I want to wear something pretty, flirty, flowing and colourful. That aside, I especially want to be comfortable because no doubt I’ll be running around enjoying myself, and I don’t want to have to stop and adjust things. So when I saw the City Chic Water Floral Dress, I knew it was the one, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!

It’s the perfect medium between modern and 50s; it has a great shape, it hugs in all the right places, the detailing at the bust draws the eye and the small black belt pulls you in at the waist. It also has a shirred panel on the back, so it’s accessible to those with a larger bust.

I could easily wear this to any 50's get together with some victory rolls, or pop it on for a lunch with the girls. The beautifully soft material lets you move freely, as if you are not wearing anything at all, and that’s a bonus when the temperatures start to soar.

When it comes to night time, I do live in Canberra, and even though it can get pretty hot during the day, the temperature can drop pretty quickly at night. This means you need a perfectly planned cardigan to slip on when the chilly winds decide to come up!

The baby blue City Chic Fun Crop Cardi has amazing detailing, and fits perfectly with the colours of the dress. You would assume this clothing combo were made for each other. The hook and eye at the top of the bust means there’s no awkward pulling of buttons, and the bottom is still free to fall nicely over the bust.

I can picture myself wearing this dress and cardigan 24/7. To be honest, anybody could enjoy its style! It’s simply beautiful; and I feel beautiful in it.
