Get Moving

Hey Guys,

Are you wanting more energy and confidence?

Moving a little each day will make you feel amazing! Exercise releases natural hormones in your body which will leave you feeling happier and more energetic. It doesn’t need to be long and boring, even a 15 minute walk can leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. Try mixing it up and keep yourself entertained.

These 4 workouts are some of my favourite ways to get moving!


You get to punch things! So if you’re having a bad day, this will give you a pick me up. Boxing classes can be a great way to boost your energy and take out frustrations. 

Pilates is an awesome workout for your core. Strengthening through your mid-section will improve balance and coordination. It’s also help with every day movements like bringing in the shopping.  

Cycling is low impact so it’s great for your joints. It’ll get your heart rate up and it works for any fitness level. Whether it’s your first time exercising or you’re a pro, cycling is a good choice. 

Lifting Weights
Quite a few women are intimidated by lifting weights or have a fear of looking manly. Seriously, all it will do is make you feel amazing and help to shape the beautiful body you already have. I’ve been lifting heavy weights for up to 20 hours a week and I still look feminine, so don’t be scared.

If you’re new to lifting make sure you ease into it. 1-2 light sessions a week is a great start and build it up slowly as your body adjusts. If you aren’t sure where to start, most gyms will have a beginner’s area with instructions on the machines. The staff are always there to help too, so ask for advice and start enjoying the weights area.
