So, you all know I like black! Absolutely! With a youth that involved grunge and goth, these days I can't help but relish a great black outfit. These days, I'm a little older (!!) and have a much simpler sense of style... I like low effort and maximum impact. One of my favourite outfits right now involves this Tiger "Bowie" top that I picked up while I was in Australia a few months ago. The simple, yet striking design leaves an impact and allows me to make a statement, without having to TRY! SIMPLE Style. AMAZING.

As it's been warm here in London, I've teamed my Tiger Top with a wet look skirt (by Aussie brand Harlow), black sandals and ultra simple jewellery. The wet look of the skirt, combined with the impact of the graphic on this top allows me to feel and look really great too.

Let's face it... Tiger "Bowie" is a GREAT graphic and it's certainly one of my favourites from recent years!! I don't really need to add to this, although a HUGE green handbag (or similar) WOULD be awesome!

I'm not into grunge and goth (so much) anymore, but this outfit feels really true to who I am and where I've come from. I actually REALLY LOVE it.

Speaking of SIMPLE style, I was looking for some beautiful, simple pieces on the City Chic Australia site and fell in love with loads of items. I'm talking EFFORTLESS pieces, clothing that gives maximum impact with a minimum amount of extra styling... Right now I'm working fourteen hours a day - so simplicity is key. Of all the items I've just looked through, I need to get these three:

The City Chic Wet Look Hi-Lo Top is an absolute favourite. I know I mightn't get away wearing that top with my Wet Look skirt from above, but on it's own - with jeans... Simple but fantastic.

City Chic Cheetah Chains Top YES. This top is simple, but the graphic, chains and cut-off sleeves make it AMAZING. Like my Tiger top - this doesn't need much!

City Chic Zip Front Pleat Tunic. Do you girls remember THIS post? Well... Ever since I got THAT amazing Zip Front Tunic, I've been looking forward to all the new styles, prints and ideas that City Chic would bring to this dress. Well, I gotta say - this is my favourite. I LOVE the colours, shape, sleeves and STYLE of it all. This dress, while being quite busy - is actually ULTRA simple... And I tell you, as a woman who likes to go to work looking good with little effort - this is on my absolute MUST BUY list!
