Behind the scenes of a plus size fashion editorial for Fashion Journal

What a stunning location.

When the editor of Fashion Journal magazine asked me to style a plus size fashion editorial for the next issue I jumped at the chance. It is something I have wanted to do for a very long time, because as a plus size gal myself I feel that I can do it better than most because I know first hand what will and wont work. In saying that though I was also incredibly nervous because I had wanted to do it for so long, what if it didn't work out? Well, I can happily tell you it was my most favourite shoot ever. I have seen some proofs from the day and they are probably my best work to date. The magazine is published in the first week of July and I can't wait to show you the images. For now though, take a look at the behind the scenes magic.

I had these hot City Chic suede bow heels.

loads of accessories (some are samples, some are available now)

some more killer shoes, these are from Minty Meets Munt, Funkis for Gorman and Melissa shoes.

Samples galore!

The talented Holly Rose was the make-up artist and hair stylist for the shoot.

Plus size model Teer Wayde brought the right amount of confidence to the shoot.

We read all about me in The Age...while Holly played with my hair.

My favourite photographer to work with, Mia Mcdonald, came on at my request because I knew she could take this shoot to a whole other level.

and it isn't a shoot without me dancing to some Kate Bush.

Throughout the week I will be bringing you interviews with the talented team so you can hear their thoughts on why they wanted to be involved with such a great shoot and also how they got into their respective fields.
